The service
QuoteBalance is an online web app (and installable web app) that lets trade and service businesses create quotes, track jobs and send invoices. Plans and limits are on our pricing page.
Price
- Free; Solo R149 a month; Team R299 a month for up to 5 users. Founding offer: Solo at R99 a month, locked for 12 months, for the first 50 businesses to subscribe to Solo. After 12 months, the price moves to the standard Solo price then in effect, and we'll email you at least 30 days before.
- Prices are the full price. There are no transport costs or other fees. Subscription prices are not subject to VAT because Silver Horizon Digital is not a registered VAT vendor.
Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in South African rand (ZAR) through Paystack, by card. We don't see or store your full card details.
Minimum duration
Monthly plans have no minimum term; they renew monthly until cancelled. There are no annual or other fixed-term plans.
Delivery
Access is immediate and online once your account is created or your payment succeeds.
Terms and your records
- Our Terms of Service apply. You can view, save or print them from that page at any time.
- Your billing history and receipts are available in your account settings while your account is open, and on request at the email above.

Your cooling-off right (ECTA section 44)
If you are a natural person and section 44 applies, you may cancel within 7 days after the transaction without reason or penalty, and we will refund what you paid within 30 days. Details are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Security and privacy
Payments are processed by Paystack over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections; we don't receive or store full card details. In the app, we use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, store passwords only as secure hashes and keep each business's data separate (see section 8 of our Privacy Policy, which also explains how we handle personal information).
